AGGIE & JILL- This entire page is incomplete. After I sent you the email asking to preview it, I realized such. I have to get my kids from school so I’m done for today but will be back to work on it more tomorrow!
Born out of Arise Kollection’s GAP Year Program, Magezi was created to address the urgent need for second-chance learning opportunities for Uganda’s underserved youth, especially girls.
We began with a simple but powerful idea: equip young women with practical skills and life read-i-ness during the critical 10-month gap before tertiary education.
What started as a 7-month empowerment program has grown into a dynamic initiative offering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), career guidance, and holistic mentorship.

After more than 10 years of operating and creating more than 200 direct-impact full time jobs for women, and sending more than 500 girls to university at our 1/2 acre facility in Kampala, a new dream is taking root – relocating the operations outside the city and expanding our capabilities into agribusiness, hospitality and modular training to create more educational and economic opportunities for women and youth in Uganda.
